The process of aircraft arrival is an important part of realizing the safe operation of the aircraft. As the rapid development of civil aviation, increased flights, the safe operation of the pressure and problems of flight operation efficiency are increasing prominently. Airspace resources of high density terminal area are increasing tensely. In order to ensure efficiency and safety in terminal area, researchers put forward the point merge approach system which combined with precision navigation technology.Firstly, this paper combines the summary of the status quo of the point merge technology abroad and domestic operation characteristics and requirements, analyses the point merge system, and comparing with the current operation mode, shows that under the high density traffic flow, the system can greatly improve the problem of channel occupancy, higher workload. Secondly, it designs the point merge system program in the NingBo LiShe airport. According to the actual airspace situation and combined the airport loction point with the parameter of point merge system in foreign countries, it determines the system parameters, and carrys out the calculation and analysis. Then, it uses the method of graph theory to analyse the maximum flow of the muti-point merge system, and caculates the max flow through the ningbo airport designing plans which be aimed at different traffic load in the third chapter. By calculating and comparing the maximum flow of the current operation system, it shows that point merge system improves the capacity of the airspace. Finally, it designs the sequencing optimization model of the point merge system, and uses the local search iteration algorithm. By comparing the simulation results with FCFS's, it shows that delay is reduced by 16.6%.
