For the flight operating safely and efficiently in crowded airspace, America and European countries are developing and constructing new generation of air traffic management system, the flight status estimation and efficient display is the important supporting technology. According to the rules of Required Navigation Performance(RNP), flight status estimation and display is implemented in this paper by combining Geographic Information System(GIS) with trajectory data that obtained from Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B).Firstly, the design of protecting zone base on great circle route and RNP rules is researched in this paper, aiming at establishing the theoretical foundation for flight status display. The protecting zone makes plane keep safe space, and the design according to RNP or RNP/AR ensures extending the airspace capability.Secondly, for estimating flight status, the ADS-B data is analyzed by using cluster algorithm to extract experiential trajectory, the experiential trajectory contains rules of historical trajectory data; flight status prediction is implemented by combining experiential trajectory and its error property with the known trajectory information. The prediction helps air controllers to know about flight status early and control the flight operation. It ensures safe and effective operation of flight. Finally, the dynamic information display system is constructed based on World Wind Java by using its customization functions. The system's function includes 3D visualization of dynamic flight and airspace information in high-resolution terrain scene, flight trajectory prediction, elevation measurement, etc.
