| Airfield lighting system is of great significance to guaranteeing the safety of aircrafts’ landing and taking off. Single-lamp Monitoring Management System improves maintenance competency for airfield lighting by automatically inspecting airfield lights and accomplishing optimized maintenance management. It consists of Single-lamp Monitoring Wireless Sensor Network(WSN), which acquires and transmits single-lamp inspection data by network nodes, and Single-lamp Information Management System, which manages the single-lamp inspection data. It is a key issue for Single-lamp Monitoring Management System to reduce energy consumption of nodes and effectively manage the information acquired by these nodes. To compress the monitoring data in nodes is an important means that can reduce energy consumption of WSN nodes and thus prolong network lifetime. Temporal correlation and spatial correlation of monitoring data in cluster nodes and sink nodes are analyzed. Feasibility of various compression algorithms is discussed. They serve the development of data compression scheme for Single-lamp Monitoring WSN, which compresses data by combining differential coding with pipelined in-network compression algorithm. Data compression strategy decides the optimal shared prefix that the pipelined in-network compression algorithm should choose. The strategy is proposed by comparing compression results of monitoring data under different shared prefix. Function and time cost of prefixes-extracting algorithm is tested on processor. Simulation result of modified pipelined in-network compression algorithm manifests that a compression ratio of about 60 percent can be achieved for monitoring data in cluster nodes and sink nodes.Single-Lamp Information Management System is constructed under the guidance of Condition-Based Maintenance to remedy the demerit caused by Breakdown Maintenance. It is a Client/Server model management information system. The system can provide decision-making knowledge for Condition-Based Maintenance. Application of Single-Lamp Information Management System can enhance civil aviation flight safety and improve maintenance competency for airfield lights. |
