With the large-scale railway construction, the railway line alignment, the high-speed railway(passenger dedicated line) through the mountainous area is more and more. Because of the complexity and uncertainty of the regional geological environment, these tunnels will also face many problems that have not been met, and the construction of the tunnel builders and scientific research workers put forward more challenges. The slate formation has the obvious stratification, broken rock, poor stability, tunnel excavation construction difficulty is bigger, especially the slate formation of large section tunnel construction, lack of experience, construction safety pressure is greater. Therefore the study which base on construction process parameters, safety control technology, risk management and disaster warning method of the large cross section tunnel of passenger dedicated line, has important practical significances to get through the shanghai-kunming passenger dedicated line new Jiping tunnel.Research results will push SLATE formation of large cross section tunnel construction technology progress.Through indoor and outdoor experiments, this article make optimizing research on the SLATE formation tunnel construction, both on SLATE deformation of tunnel construction and field test research of structure stability. Also the article makes a study on key techniques of tunnel construction scheme and construction technology and risk assessment and SLATE tunnel disaster early warning method. According these studies, the article summarizes the corresponding construction methods which were used in the site construction.
