Na I(T1) scintillation detector of the detection efficiency is high, but its low energy resolution, and in the complex environment of the uncertainty of measurement can affect energy spectrum analysis results. Qualitative analysis is one of the main content of spectrum analysis, it mainly includes the spectrum peak processing and data smoothing and making nuclide identification, there are many kinds of method of dealing with smooth and find peaks, so choose what kind of method is more superior, through the evaluation index to measure the advantages and disadvantages of each method and the improved method is put forward.This article mainly uranium(U) and thorium(Th) nuclide spectrum data as an example to analyze,Based on Na I(T1) scintillation detector multi-channel pulse analysis system of the energy spectrum of qualitative analysis method and comparative evaluation,Put forward can satisfy the experiment for the improved energy spectrum data processing method.Spectral data smoothing processing :Intrinsic to the statistical fluctuation of detector and the influence of electronics system noise,In the nuclear spectrum data processing will produce error,In order to weaken the effects of the error, By comparing the different smoothing method of spectral data and effectively we evaluation is very necessary.In this paper, by introducing the Gauss method combined with least square method of Na I(T1)scintillation detector measurement of nuclear energy spectrum smoothing method,Using MATLAB for uranium and thorium spectral data smoothing. Smoothness index is put forward and the relationship between each other for two kinds of parameters for 238 u, 232 Th scientific comparison and evaluation on the spectral data analysis,Can improve traditional smoothing method is put forward different period of combination of smoothing method,Can improve the accuracy and precision of the nuclear energy spectrum data processing.Spectral data to find the peak :Energy spectrum analysis of the key question is precisely calculate the peak position of each peak.
