In recent years, with a large number of wind farms integration into power system, the wind turbines accident occurs frequently because of harmonic resonance. Harmonic resonance problem has gradually become the bottleneck of wind farms integrating into power system. Therefore, identify potential harmonic resonance point of the system and take appropriate suppression means according to the characteristics of the wind farm harmonic resonance before the wind farm integrate into power system is necessary. This article explores this topic in wind farms, providing a theoretical basis to solving the wind farm harmonic resonance problem, which has important theoretical and practical significance.This paper analyzes the typical topology and parameters of domestic wind farm and establish the harmonic models of various components in wind farms and the grid connected system, then analysis harmonic resonance characteristics in different reactive power compensation capacity, different systems short-circuit capacity, different distance and different number of wind turbines using the analytical method of impedance scanning, based on the input impedance of the busbar in the typical domestic wind farm. According to the harmonic resonance characteristics of the wind farm and the typical topology and parameters of domestic wind farm, set up a specific frequency domain harmonic equivalent circuit model of the wind farm, acquired the harmonic resonance frequency identification characteristic equation where the wind power system parameters is the variables of equation, and analyzes the sensitivity of resonance frequency to the wind farm electrical parameters through frequency identification characteristic equation derivation.In order to make the wind farm harmonic resonance frequency far away from the wind farm dominant harmonic frequency domain, this paper proposing a optimization method of the filter parameter based on the minimum input impedance of busbars, and realised the filter parameters optimization by programming, and finally by examining the resonant frequency of the wind farm proved the effectiveness of the designed resonance suppression filter.
