In this paper, an air bus analyzer is designed based on ARINC429 air bus as data bus interface. When designing this air bus analyzer, the microcontroller technology, data acquisition technology, ARINC429 bus interface technology and anti-jamming technology are used to design. This designed air bus analyzer can complete ARINC429 bus signal’s reception, send, test and display. Using the C8051F064 microcontroller as control core, the dedicated ARINC429 bus interface chip HS-3282 and HS-3182 as 429 bus interface circuit, LCD as the display module, a simple structure, high reliability air bus analyzer is designed. The innovation of this designed air bus analyzer is that it can not only test and display the data content of the 429 bus signals, but also can measure the electrical characteristic parameters including the frequency, period, pulse width, rising time and falling time in order to monitor the ARINC429 bus much more better.This paper first introduces air-bus test methods briefly, and then describes the theory research required when designing an air bus analyzer, introduces the ARINC429 protocol, and studies two data acquisition methods. Then the function of the system is described in the mass. The system’s hardware and software detailed design and realization methods are expatiated particularly. Finally, by analyzing the results of system tests the system’s reliability and validity are successfully demonstrated.In the aero electronic equipment’s maintenance work, this designed air bus analyzer can be used as a supplementary tool to test and analyses the data bus’ s working condition which is used by aero electronic equipments. The ARINC429 bus analyzer can receive the 429 bus information which is send by the aero electronic equipment by connecting with the 429 bus. It can also measure the electrical characteristic parameters of the received 429 signals in order to monitor the aero electronic equipment’s working condition. The ARINC429 bus analyzer can also send specific data to simulate the aero electronic equipment’s working condition to carry out failure analysis.
