Rubber modified asphalt mixture have better road performance, and it has been widely applied to road construction. However, construction temperature of rubber asphalt mixture is higher than that of asphalt mixture, and emission is more outstanding. Based on the quality of mixture, warm mix technology can reduce construction temperature and cut down the emission.Therefore, warm mix technology used in the rubber modified mixture would produce a positive effect on the application of waste tires.First of all, we put forward key parameters of mixture design through studying existing rubber asphalt mixture design method. Under the circumstance of determining the mixture gradation and optimum asphalt ratio, the mechanical properties and road performance test of AR-AC13 and AR-HM13 mixtures were conducted. The results indicate that the two warm mixing rubber asphalt mixtures all show good road performance, and low temperature performance and fatigue resistance of AR-AC13 is better than those of AR-HM13. However, high temperature property of AR-HM13 is better than that of AR-AC13.Second, the paper discusses the effect of warm mix additives on the road performance of rubber modified asphalt mixture. Sasobit additive improves the high temperature performance and water stability of rubber modified asphalt mixture. However, Evotherm and Sasobit additives have an adverse influence on the low temperature propertiy. And Evotherm doesn't have much influence on the water stability.Moreover, the mixing temperature and compaction temperature of WAM rubber modified asphalt calculated using steady shear flow viscosity is close to the engineering. When using the Sasobit additive, we recommend that mixing temperature is 165 ?-170 ?, and compaction temperature is 155 ?-160 ?. When choosing Evothem additive, we advise that mixing temperature is 170?-175?, and compaction temperature is 160?-165?.Finally, the key parameters and economic and technical indexes were validated by the paving testing road. The discharging temperature of rubber modified asphalt mixture and WAM rubber modified asphalt mixture are 180? and 160?, respectively. Using the same paving and compaction technology, compaction degree, seepage depth and structural depth of WAM rubber modified asphalt mixture are better than those of rubber asphalt mixture. In addition, WMA rubber asphalt pavement construction process which can reduce the pollutant emission has significant social benefits.
