Concrete self-anchored suspension bridge is a new structure type developing in recent ten years. Because of its beautiful appearance, strong adaptability, reasonable cost and other advantages, it has a high competitive in the middle span bridge projects. More than tens of self-anchored suspension bridges have been built in China. Because of the change of structure form, its construction method and construction control are different from the traditional suspension bridge. At present, the study of construction control of this bridge is carried out not systematically and in-depth. So this paper systematically studies construction control of concrete self-anchored suspension bridge based on a certain large span concrete self-anchored suspension bridge project. We mainly study:1. From the aspect of project management, the type of bridge construction control system, working frame, organizations and other issues are discussed deeply. The bridge construction control system is designed by concept method. The long-span concrete self-anchored suspension bridge construction control system framework is established generally.2. Based on literature review, considering the structure character of the self-anchored suspension bridge, the construction control contents and methods are studied in detail. The calculation formulas of non-stress length of suspension, the position of suspension without load and saddle pre-biased are derived based analytical iteration method and non-stress state method.3. According to the above research results, a complete technical program of concrete self-anchored suspension bridge construction control is established, and it was used in a large span self-anchored suspension bridge and obtained good result.The research results in this paper provide a reference for the similar bridge engineering construction.
