The method to deal with the building CAE model of vehicle seal is always big problem when the Trimmed Body is built for the analysis of NVH performance because of the viscoelasticity, hyperelasticity and non-linearity of rubber. Unfortunately, there are very few researches on this problem, so this paper is made to solve this problem.The analysis of Trimmed Body usually includes modal analysis, NTF analysis and VTF analysis. The focus of this paper is the method to build the precise CAE model of vehicle seal in the modal and VTF analysis of Trimmed Body so as to make the result of the NVH analysis of Trimmed Body more precise.Firstly, with the hyperelatic material model and viscoelastic model analyzed, some experiments are made to achieve data to be fitted to achieve the parameters of material models of rubber.Secondly, the method to build the precise CAE model of vehicle seal for modal analysis is made from the viewpoint of equivalent damping, stiffness and mass. After the model built, the verification of level of simulating of the model is made and the result shows that the equivalent model for modal analysis of vehicle seal can meet the requirements.Thirdly, the model to get the real and imaginary part curve of rubber seal is built. With the curves achieved from frequency response analysis, the method to build the precise CAE model of vehicle seal for VTF analysis can be got based on the fitted viscoelastic model. After the model built, the verification of level of simulating of the model is made and the result shows that the equivalent model for NTF analysis of vehicle seal can meet the requirements.Finally, the frame of the auto building of CAE model system is proposed. Based on Tcl language, Process Studio of Process Manager, which is designed by Altair for users, is used to develop the auto building of CAE model system. After the system has been developed, a specific was proposed to verify the system, and it shows that the auto building of CAE model system for NVH analysis can save a lot of times for users.
