The performance of concrete can be improved by using limestone powder to replace cement. Meanwhile, the price of the concrete decreases with the adding of limestone powder. The researches on the influence mechanism of limestone powder on the performance of concrete has already attract great interests, but the application in engineering has seldom reported. In this paper, the preparation process of lime stone powder, the optimization of the mix proportion and the practical application of lime stone powder concrete were introduced detailed respectively.This article through to comparing and analyzing the equipment of limestone powder preparation technology, determines the proper production process. Using the design and calculation of concrete mixture ratio, makes three strength grade of limestone powder concrete, analysis the impact of limestone powder content and sand ratio on the properties of concrete, optimizes the limestone powder concrete mixture ratio. Three strength grade of concrete was applied to different parts in two different engineering. Through the research and analysis, assesses practical engineering application of limestone powder concrete.This topic research shows that:(1) The lime stone powder is prepared by the following process. First, the lime stone is milled after being moved to mill by the conveyor belt. Then, the lime stone grains are selected by the powder selecting machine. The appropriate powder is moved to Cyclone separator by airflow, at the same time, the thick grain is moved to be milled once more. Finally, the qualified powder and air are separated by the Cyclone separator. The lime stone powder is moved by the Bucket elevator and stored in the storeroom. The fineness of the product is stable and the quality is eligible through this process. The price decrease without affecting the performance of concrete by using lime stone powder to replace cement in the concrete.(2) The C30 limestone powder concrete applies to Qingshui creek engineering, using a total of 4385m3. Its performance meets the construction requirements, at the same time, strength evaluation and the appearance of concrete component is qualified. C40, C50 limestone powder concrete were used in different parts of the Guoao village project. C40 limestone powder concrete was used to pouring construction wallboard, amount to 34211m3. The workability of concrete meets the requirements, and the compressive strength of concrete specimens which formed at the scene is qualified. C50 limestone powder concrete was used to pouring construction beam and column, amount to 34211m3. The workability of concrete meets the requirements, and the performance and compressive strength of concrete is qualified.
