Rotating machinery is the key equipment in electric power, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy and other industries. Rotor system as core component of rotating machinery, its safe, reliable and stable operation are very important. It directly affects the performance of rotating machinery. The rotor system will be subjected to torque excitation because of the change of the load during the operation of rotating machinery. The dynamic characteristics and tribological characteristics of the rotor system are changed with the torque excitation. The study of the dynamic characteristics and tribological characteristics of the rotor system under torque excitation is of great significance to the design and manufacture, online monitoring and fault diagnosis of rotor system.Firstly, the relationship between the bending vibration and the bearing load of the rotor system under the torque excitation is studied. The mathematical model is established for the single span rotor test bench. Then the bearing load of rotor system before and after constant torque excitation is put into the model. The bending vibration signal of the center of the rotating shaft is obtained by simulation. By comparing with the measured vibration signals, the corresponding relationship between the bending vibration and the bearing load of the rotor system under constant torque excitation is further verified.Using the dynamic software ADAMS to analyze the influence of the constant torque excitation on the dynamic behavior of the rigid body rotor and the elastic body rotor. The rigid body rotor model and the elastic body rotor model are established respectively and the dynamic simulation is carried out. Through the comparative analysis of the simulation results, the influence of the elasticity of the rotating shaft on the bending vibration of the rotating shaft with constant torque excitation is analyzed.The coupling analysis of dynamics and Tribology of rotor system under constant torque excitation is carried out by the combination of ADAMS and MATLAB. The research found that the amplitude of the vibration displacement of the rotor subjecting constant torque excitation is small, balance position downward shift, axis locus contraction, eccentricity ratio increases, oil film pressure and bearing load increases. The test phenomenon is consistent with the rotor test bench subjected to constant torque excitation. Comparative dynamics simulation and coupling simulation results, it is found that the dynamic behavior and the tribological behavior of the rotor system under constant torque excitation are mutually influenced and promoted by each other, existing a strong coupling effect.Rotor test bench was designed. Different types, different values of torque loading test and fault simulation can be carried out on the test bench. A variety of sensors are installed in the test rig, which can be used to monitor the dynamic state of the rotor system under different conditions. In addition, the test rig can be easily carried out oil sampling, which provides the condition for the study of the influence of different conditions on the friction and wear of the rotor system through the technology of iron spectrum.
