Nowadays, global application of rail transit turns around completely. In modern railway terminal, in order to improve single carrying capacity of heavy-duty railway locomotive, people tend to improve the traction quality and transportation capability by using high-power locomotive, increasing train axle load, using relevant long train formation and other special methods under permitting conditions of heavy-duty railway locomotive. Connection type of reconnection locomotive includes inner connection and outer connection. The internal networks of two connection methods are basically the same. Reconnection locomotive based on MVB bus, each control unit in the locomotive forms a closed network through relevant network code connection.High efficiency and high accuracy transit can greatly enhance the safety factor of locomotive.This article is mainly about comprehensive study on electric equipment composition, hardware composition of MVB network control system of reconnection locomotive, feasibility analysis of MVB network control system and realization of network control system. Electric equipment composition of reconnection locomotive mainly introduces the function of pantograph, main transformer, traction convertor block, BCU, main circuit breaker, traction dynamo and other parts. While hardware composition of MVB network control system mainly introduces relevant hardware of modular composition: GW, DI, DIO, AIO, IDU and function of each unit. In the feasibility analysis of MVB network control system, the feasibility of MVB network control system could be proved by analysis of selection basis and principle of data transmission and transmission media and the effect of terminal resistance in network.In the following realization of network control system, it mainly includes introduction of function of WTB bus through the introduction of function of small unit of each parts, and at last it introduces realization of MVB network control system in HMI.
