The paper summarizes the developmental history of domestic and foreign auto synchronous belt, this paper analyzes the process of auto synchronous belt drive, a clear length measuring principle and auto synchronous belt length measuring process of measuring machine.In this paper, the conventional auto synchronous belt measuring machine control system, put forward a new design method. The whole design ideas will put EP1C6Q240C8 of FPGA chip as the core, the output signals of all the sensors are collected by the FPGA chip, then the collected data via the AVR chip for processing spread IPC, IPC sends out control according to the received data instruction and generation length measurement results and the length measurement result will be storage. The entire measuring machine mainly measures the length of auto synchronous belt and the rolling amount. According to the design of auto synchronous belt, the length measurement accuracy can reach±0.01 mm, the car rolling amount of measurement accuracy can reach±0.1 mm. And at last, the designed auto synchronous belt CNC precision measuring machine for testing, the test results show the rationality of the entire design process. And make up for the domestic auto synchronous belt measuring machine gaps in some respects, and that the design of the car belt CNC precision measuring machine technical indicators provide an experimental basis for the revision of GB12734-2003 standard.
