With the acceleration of China's urbanization,a large number of population come into the city,which increases theresident and production discharge.Since September 2014,we are suffering from the most serious El Nino phenomenon in the last 65 years,Southern China appeared the large-scale heavy rain weather,which leads to built drainage systems' overwhelming.So it's imperative for our country to innovate the system,inventing a kind of high strength,high durability,highdischarge capacity and saving space pipe has important implications for the improvement of it.Compared with normal Concrete,RPC(Reactive Power Concrete)has the features of high strength,high toughness,as a kind of new building materials.In this paper,we introduce the RPC material into drainage pipe manufacturing area,design and manufacture RPC thin-wall oval cross-section socket type pipe successfully,get static loading experiment result,and analyse the discharge capacity and practicability.The main results follow as:1.We complete the design of oval cross-section parameters,formulate the thickness of the pipe through the Midas-FEA finite element software calculation,finish the pipe socket and flat base design later,and define the pipe' appearance at last.2.This paper summarizes the mechanism,composition,performance indicators of RPC,and get the satisfactory product eventually.The compressive strength of it is more than 150 Mpa,and the breaking strength is greater than 20 Mpa,which is enough for socket pipe's structure requirements.3.We get the RPC pipe by the immersion & attached-vibration method,and make an loading experiment on it to get the displacement and strain parameter after the visual inspection.Theresult shows that the pipe's bearing capacity reach the ? standard,we also analyse the displacement and strain feature ofthepipe's tensile zone and compressive zone.4.Through the contrast hydraulic calculation between RPC pipe and common pipe,we make its drainage capability assessment and analyse its practicability and economy.
