Hydraulic cone crusher is the main equipment of raw material crushing and processing, and it possesses the advantage of high material crushing efficiency, uniform particle size uniformity, maintenance and maintenance convenience, etc. It is very important to study the hydraulic cone crusher and improve its working efficiency.Broken cavity is the main space of hydraulic cone crusher, which plays a decisive role in improving the working performance of hydraulic cone crusher. Therefore, the movement and the interaction of the material in the crushing cavity, the size and the distribution of the crushing force in the crushing chamber are the important factors affecting the performance of the cone crusher.In the research process of crushing force, by collating and analysing the date and according to laminated crushing theory, the calculation formula of the crushing force is derived and the actual stress distribution with cone. According to the calculating formula of the breaking force, the stress and strain distribution of the cone inner surface of the hydraulic cone crusher are obtained by using Workbench ANSYS finite element analysis software. The size and distribution of the stress and the deformation of the cone are obtained by the results.The simulation model of the material breaking is established, and the EDEM is analyzed by the discrete element software. After the analysis of the simulation results, the velocity variation, stress and fracture of the material in the crushing cavity are obtained.In the process of simulation, the whole crushing process of the material in the crushing cavity can be observed.
