The auto transmission is one of the important devices of automobile transmission system.Compared with the traditional manual transmission, the automatic hydraulic transmission has large transmission power, simple manipulation, stable starting, driving safety, good power performance and fuel economy. The high speed on-off valve and slide valve or other directional valve constitute shift valve of automatic hydraulic transmission, it is used to control the clutch and plays a leading role in the vehicle shift clutch hydraulic buffer control. Its response speed of opening and closing directly affects the shift speed and quality of automatic hydraulic transmission. An enterprise in Guizhou province has experience of research and development for automatic hydraulic transmission, but the technology in high-speed on-off valve and the rapid response performance can't satisfy the requirement of hydraulic control system, which limits the development of the overall performance of automatic hydraulic transmission. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to shorten the response time of high-speed on-off valve of automatic hydraulic transmission, and provide technical support and theoretical reference for the development of automatic hydraulic transmission which has high performance and high speed on-off valve.In this paper, the model of high-speed on-off valve circuit, magnetic circuit and motor was established, on the basic that the structure and working principle of the high-speed on-off valve were analyzed. The electromagnetic field of high-speed on-off valve(HLDCF-26E) was analyzed, using the software of Ansoft. After distribution of electromagnet field was obtained, the influence laws of structure parameters of electromagnet to electromagnetic force and the response time of electromagnet were acquired.According to the magnetic and mechanical properties of high-speed on-off valve, combined with the analysis results of electromagnetic field, the dynamic simulation model was established in the software of Amesim. The influence laws of some elements to the dynamic response time of on-off valve was analyzed, and the elements such as size of steel ball, spring stiffness, number of coil turns, excitation voltage, current changes and medium pressure. The results provide a reference for improving the on-off valve dynamic response performance and optimization design.In order to reduce the response time, on the basis of high-speed on-off valve dynamic performance and the finite element analysis of electromagnetic field, the following works were carried out. First of all, the structure parameters of electromagnet were optimized using the genetic algorithm in the software of Ansoft Maxwell. Then, the simulation model was established according to the optimization result of electromagnet. The optimization objective function was established using time multiplied IAE, and the genetic algorithm was used to optimize the structure parameters of electromagnet. The optimization objectives were number of coil turns, quality of ball, spring preload and working stroke. The results show that the total response time of the high-speed on-off valve is shortened by 28.89% compared with the original, which meet the requirements of the rapid response performance.
