Concrete has been applied widely in road engineering. But it existes some cracks, such as lower tensile strength and poor toughness. Steel fiber has the ability of increase strength and toughness. Adding steel fiber into concrete can improve the tensile strength and toughness effectively, the service life of road and reliable performance improvely.This project according to the actual engineering requirement, adding a certain amount of steel fiber into concrete, then prepared steel fiber reinforced concrete which can meet the requirements. Firstly, according to the goals and objectives, this project research different water cement ratio, water consumption per unit volume, sand ratio and the admixture, fly ash and mineral powder dosage on the properties of concrete, made out of the ordinary concrete. Secondly, according to the existing two kinds of different cement, admixtures, steel fiber, the study of different kinds of raw materials for performance and mechanical performance of concrete work, the research and preparation of the C40 and C55 two kinds of steel fiber reinforced concrete. At last, the steel fiber reinforced concretes were studied during the preparation of molding and mixing process.Studied two kinds of steel fiber reinforced concrete of C40 and C55 materials and optimization of mix proportioning, steel fiber reinforced concrete prepared can be applied into the practical engineering. Under the certain condition of raw materials, C40 steel fiber concrete mixture ratio is: W/C=0.36, Steel fiber admixture is 97.5kg/m~3; Sand ratio is 45%. C55 steel fiber concrete mixture ratio as follows: W/C=0.32; Steel fiber content is 117kg/m~3; Sand ratio is 50%. All of the Water consumption per unit volume is 180kg/m~3; Dosage of fly ash is 10%; Mineral powder dosage is 20% and admixture is 5kg/m~3. The finally summarizes of the construction process as follows: first, casting(sand + gravel + steel fiber), stirring and feeding, stirring a total about 1.5 min, mixing 1 min after feeding cement materials, the final voting(water + admixture) and stirring, stirring about 3 min, after the time the concrete has good dispersion. With the steel fiber content increased, the concrete working performance is decreased and the performance reduced drastically. Under the materials C40 and C55 do not affect the performance and the biggest dosage steel fiber were 97.5 kg/m~3 and 117 kg/m~3. Under the dosage, 28 d of C40 and C55 concrete compressive strength increased by 20% and 27% respectively, 7d and 28 d splitting intensity increased about 80% and 100% compared with the blank sample.This paper researched the preparation of steel fiber reinforced concrete, which had important theoretical significance and practical value in application of steel fiber reinforced pavement materials in our country.This paper researched the preparation of steel fiber reinforced concrete. Mixing steel fiber concrete into road materials which can improve the performanceand, the crack resistance of toughness features, the life of road effectively. Defects of concrete material can be avoided through adding steel fiber in concrete. It not only meets the requirement of practical engineering, but also the steel fiber widespread applicated in pavement materials provide important theoretic and application guidance.
