Perovskite solar cell since its discovery in 2009, just five years, its efficiency was from the original 3.8% jump to 20.1% today,raised more than 5 times?It was rated as one of the top ten scientific breakthroughs by Science. As perovskite solar cell light absorb layer, CH3NH3PbI3 has many advantages. But because of containing Pb, it can cause pollution to the environment. Therefore, in this paper, we use Sn to instead of Pb to synthesize non-toxic, perovskite structure CH3NH3SnICl2, and characterization. Concluded as follow:Firstly, we use solution process to prepare CH3NH3SnICl2 by adjusting the proportion of reactants, the reaction time and the temperature of the reaction solution, and we characterize the prepared CH3NH3SnICl2 light absorbing solution by UV-Vis.The results showed that: when the amount of the substance CH3NH3 I with SnCl2 ratio of 2:1, for 20 minutes at room temperature, 100? reaction for 10 minutes, the absorption properties of the prepared CH3NH3SnICl2 is the best, at 300 nm, respectively, reach the maximum 4.Secondly, we prepare CH3NH3SnICl2 crystal by adjusting the ratio of reactants, reaction time and temperature, and by Super Depth Image, SEM and XRD analysis means to characterize the morphology and crystal structure.Then investigating the influence of storage time on its surface topography and its stability.The results showed that: when the amount of substance CH3NH3 I and SnCl2 is 2:1, we get the best surface morphology; When Sn Cl2 overdose, five hours of reaction time and temperature have little impact to the surface morphology of the light-absorbing layer; When CH3NH3 I overdose, five hours of reaction time and temperature can make CH3NH3SnICl2 crystal becomes more uniform and more compact. When the amount of substance CH3NH3 I and SnCl2 is 2:1, we get the best CH3NH3SnICl2 XRD pattern. When CH3NH3SnICl2 placed directly in the air, it is very unstable. It takes only two hours for holes to appear on the surface.
