Vehicle-to-Vehicle communication(V2V) is used to achieve road traffic safety level by Emergency Warming Message(EWM) exchange. To improve road risky warning capabilities, Safety Warning Message(SWM) is defined to inform the potential danger to vehicle drivers. In this paper, a Cluster-Based Multi-Channel(CBMC) scheme is proposed to improve SWM transmission performance. The main contents are as follows:First of all, First of all, based on current research work, V2 V system is introduced, while existing solutions for road safety message dissemination are summarized, which lay the foundation for the paper research. After that, the structure of Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network(VANET) is presented and basic road safety message delivery mechanisms are given. According to the contents of vehicle safety message, a new concept, SWM, is put forward. Then SWM transmission mechanism design requirements are analyzed.Thirdly, proposed road vehicle clustering method is presented. Corresponding key points, such as gateway selection, cluster head selection and competition methods, are described in detail. Then, a cooperative mechanism for SWM transmission is given, while DSRC multi-channel distribution method is discussed. Combining with vehicle clustering method, proposed CBMC scheme is presentedAt last, based on the Net Eye test-bed with Tiny OS, series experiment schemes are designed to verify the efficiency of proposed methods in this paper.
