With the rapid development of urban economy,the load of urban power networks is also on the rise.At the same time,the load peak and off-peak difference in ubban network is caused by residents’ regular rest.In order to enhance the ability of urban power supply, power grid transmission line and the demand response potential of user-side can be taken into consideration.Transmission lines carrying capacity could be improved by capacity-increased technology so that the ability of power supply of transmission lines also can be improved.Firstly,the potential and practical problems of Nanjing urban power networks demand response have been analysed in depth.The scale,load and electric quantity of Nanjing power network have been summarized.The further research has been coverd the structure and the load which include the growth trend,character and classification. Wehave choosed Xinjiekou,Economic-Technological development zone and Hexi Olympic Sports area as a typical analysis.As a result,some problems have been put forward,including western network,line load,power supply and environmental development.In summary,the demand supply of Nanjing urban power network has a great potential.Secondly, new transmission lines, replacing double capacity conductor and dynamic Capacity-Increase technology that could improve the power supply for city have been stated and estimate cost.We can see that dynamic Capacity-Increase technology has obvious advantages compared to the previous.Then,it makes a deep research to improve the intelligent demand response technology of power supply.The second and three industry that participate in the electric power demand response and air condition,water heater and electric cars have been analysed,which we have been set up the model by them.It has been proposed that we can carry out researches to meet the automatic demand under the intelligent power networkcircumstances and give out some solutions.In the control methods of the second、three industry and household electricity intelligent demand response, we have introduced the concept of safe performance index and dynamic priority,putting forward the concept ofHome appliance comfort index.Intelligent home appliance management control algorithm has been presented.The economic analysis of the demand response technology is carried out by means of numerical examples.Finally, this paper summarizes the transmission line capacity increasing technology and the demand response technology,analyzing the environmental problems of the implementation of two technology.First choice to improve power supply in Nanjing city is ransmission line capacity increasing technology,but the demand response technology is also needed to carry out gradually.
