Small, miniature transformers are widely used in electronic equipments. Its performance often affects the entire device. To determine whether the transformer is qualified, multiple coil parameters are need to be measured, including the main inductance, turns ratio, turn-to-turn capacitance, the leakage inductance, etc. At present, transformer manufacturers often use LCR testers to measure those parameters, which need complex operations and cause low efficiency. It has been difficult to adapt to the requirement of multiple pins fast measurement.This paper work comes from a Nanjing enterprise commissioned project. The aim of the project is to develope a transformer comprehensive tester. The paper describes the digital measurement and analysis system in the tester, including the measuring principle and design requirement analysis, system overall scheme design, detailed design of hardware and software, system debugging and performance testing.This paper designed an embedded system with S3C6410 as the control core, and developed user interface, measurement analysis software based on Linux and Qt. The system can measure multiple sets of parameters in one-time scanning, which greatly simplify the measuring process, and improve the efficiency of the measurement.This paper can be divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces research background, basic measuring principle and research contents. The second chapter analyzes all aspects of design requirements, and the overall software and hardware schemes are proposed. The third chapter introduces the system hardware design and gives the specific circuit of each part. In the fourth chapter, software design was introduced hierarchically in detail, which contains three layers, driver layer, operating system layer, and application layer. The application layer is introduced on emphasis. The fifth chapter describes the system debugging process step by step. And preliminary tests to the performance have been carried on.The transformer comprehensive tester designed by this paper has the following characteristics:convenient interaction, rich display, full functions and interfaces. The measurement speed and precision meet the requirements of project contract, successfully complete the design task.
