Prestressed Concrete Pipe Pile With Mixed Reinforcement For The Application Of A Soft Soil Foundation Pit Engineering In The Pearl River Delta Area

Prestressed concrete pipe pile with mixed reinforcement(referred to as the PRC pipe pile) is a new type of pile, which is being developed and applied in the coastal soft soil areas in recent years. The PRC pipe pile solves some defects of conventional pipes, such as anti-horizontal load capacity is poor, the lack of durability and anti-bending ability, poor ductility and its application has more broad prospects in the field of engineering. Due to the PRC pipe pile used in soft soil foundation excavation is less, so the research on the mechanism of its work is insufficient.This paper studied the PRC pipe pile and its application in soft soil excavation, through the experimental data of PRC pipe pile and the monitoring data with numerical simulation.The PRC pipe pile are found to have good control of foundation pit deformation ability. It is not only to ensure safety in quality, and improve the foundation pit economy and convenient construction in a large extent, at the same time can effectively reduce the negative impact on the surrounding environment. This provides an example of design and construction has a reference value for popularization and application of PRC pipe pile in the pearl river delta soft soil foundation pit engineering.
