Traditional distribution network is a kind of passive network, accepting the dispatch command from upper grid. The rapid development of the distributed generation technology and extensive access to distribution network have brought huge challenge to distribution network, making it the active power distribution network. Optimal dispatch for distributed generation in distribution network can effectively reduce the network loss and operation cost, and the promotion of advanced load management technology and control equipment in distribution network also makes the load with adjustable properties be incorporated into the optimal operation of distribution network. This paper studies the optimal dispatch of distribution network with adjustable load and distributed generation, firstly analyzing the characteristics of adjustable load and distributed generation, secondly making convex relaxation to flow equation, which can deal with optimal dispatch problem in the second-order cone optimization method, finally establishing optimal dispatch model of distribution network with adjustable load and distributed generation and putting forward a solution algorithm. This research is carried out one by one step and the main contents are as follows:The relationship between the demand side response and adjustable load is introduced. According to the operating characteristics, adjustable load can be divided into three kinds of load:direct load control, interruptible load and load which is affected by price mechanism, and the implement method of adjustable load is studied. According to whether distributed generation can be dispatched or not, distributed generation is divided into renewable energy power generation which is not controlled and controllable distributed generation, and the energy storage as a special distributed generation is studied. The running characteristics of all kinds of distributed power supply is analyzed. For energy storage, the characteristics of each type of energy storage is introduced and contrasted in detail.Power flow of distribution network is represented by Baran model and optimal power flow model is presented. This paper relaxes the model and turns it into second-order cone programming. The contrast of power flow calculation between Newton-Raphson method and SOCP shows the model is correct. On the basis of optimal power flow, an optimal dispatch model is presented with storage,SVC and PV, whose objective is minimizing the active power loss of distribution network in the dispatch period and an example verification is carried out.On the basis of dispatch model in the previous article, from the angle of electricity company in the electricity market, an dispatch model of electricity company is presented whose objective is minimizing day-ahead operating costs of electricity company with controllable distributed generation and adjustable load, and an example verification is carried out. The results show that the proposed dispatch model can effectively reduce operating costs of electricity company by dispatching distributed generation and adjustable load in a reasonable manner.
