| With the rapid development of science and technology, traditional launch technologies are hardly meet people’s special demands of launching apparatus in the aspect of velocity, because of its inherent limits and defects. Electromagnetic launch technology(EML) has taken launch science and technology into a new era.EML has a lot of unique advantages, such has faster launch velocity,more efficiency,better performance, easier control, more various structures and so on. Therefore, it is significant and prospective that electromagnetic launch technology is applied to military and civil fields in the future.The paper first outlines the EML technology and its development in domestic and abroad,then introduces three different types of EM launchers and their basic working principle. We mainly introduced the working principle of the coil type electromagnetic launcher through comparison and analysis and choose the coil type EM launchers as the research plan. By using reluctance coil launcher’s special acceleration mechanism. We build the computation model and analyze the main components of reluctance coil EM. Modeling and simulation is made on the use of Simulink. Analysis of the dynamic characteristics is done to find the relations between projectile’s initial position, charging voltage and capacity with speed of the projectile,and the necessary efficiency analysis. According to the above study, we design a two-stage electromagnetic launch system and related experiment is done. The experiment results imply that the scope of the ball depends on its voltage and the initial position of the ball. |
