Development Of ABS Speed Sensor Ring Gear Pitch Quality Detection Device

The quality testing of automobile ABS speed sensor ring gear in the current production line is using artificial visually,withing heavy workload,error detection rate,low efficiency and other shortcomings.In this paper,some measures were put forward to solve the problems appearing in traditional detection methods,and a ABS speed sensor ring gear quality detection system based on quality digital fiber optic sensing technology was developed.This system was mainly used to to detect the pitch error and surface defects of ring gear.The main research contents are as follows:(1)The dissertation based on the "space-time transformation theory" with the ring surface reflectio n principle,proposed double conversion measurement methods.Then,putting forward the system design specifications and developed a fiber optic ring quality defect detection overall program by combining with the structural characteristics of the gear ring itself.(2)According to the structure characteristics of the tested ring gear,the working principle of the mechanical structure was determined,and a reasonable mechanical design scheme was put forward,which included three parts of the sensor level adjustment device,the rotating device and the aluminum alloy frame.(3)The software and hardware development and design of the system.The dissertation fulfilled the design of the signal acquisition module,the homing and the zero position detection module,the motor drive module,and etc with MSP430F149 microcontroller as the core.The design of man-machine exchange interface was based on LabVIEW.The function of the input tooth number,motor control,data display and communication control were realized.(4)Finally,the testing experiment of the equipment was carried out.The test showed that the system can identify different types of defects of gear ring and under the premise of different rotating motor speed,the detecting precision of the system is also different,and error detection rate is less than 1%,testing speed reaches 12 s/pcs,and can rapidly detect whether each ring gear is qualified,and effectively increases testing efficiency and accuracy of ring gear.The system can meet the need of real-time and batch automatic detection of ABS ring in the field production line,and can replace manual visual method.
