| Hot mix asphalt mixture is generally chosen as asphalt pavement at home and abroad at present.However,the mixture mixing and compaction temperature of hot mix asphalt mixture are high,thus,not only large amounts of energy is consumed,but also lots of harmful substance is let out.Along with the rise in the numbers of the channel and the increasing scale of tunnel,hot mix asphalt mixture not only brings great inconvenience to construction,but also exists great potential safety hazard,expecially in such a closed space as tunnel.As for these expects,it has great significance to put forward the use of warm mix asphalt mixture in the long tunnel.Warm mix asphalt(WMA)is a new type of energy saving and emission reduction material that can reduce the temperature of mixture,often can reduce heat mix asphalt mixture construction temperature ranging from 10 to 35℃ through the use of a particular technology or additives.The lower construction temperature can not only extend the transport time and distance of the mixture,but also can reduce harmful gas emissions,also can reduce the ageing of the asphalt.lt has a broad application prospect for the use of WMA in the long tunnel.At present the use of warm mix asphalt mixture is commonly adding additive to the ordinary asphalt or using other technologies.The asphalt used in this article is a type of finished product SBS modified asphalt that produced by sinopec,it does not require additional operating alone during the use process.The performance of the asphalt,the determination of the construction temperature through the laboratory test and mixture ratio design as well as the road performance analysis are studied in this paper,at the same time,it introduces the test road in detail.From the indoor experiments,we can find the performance of the warm mixing SBS modified asphalt and common SBS modified asphalt are basically the same,the warm mixing SBS modified asphalt has slightly lower viscosity at low temperatures;The construction temperatur of the WMA determined by the volume method is more or less 15℃lower than the common SBS asphalt mixture,it may be higher in practical projec;From the contrast of the road performance between the test sections and the common SBS sections,itcan be found that there is no big difference between the two type of road surface.It hasgreater application value and prospect for this finished product of warm SBS modified asphalt discussed in this paper. |
