As one of the basic heat transmission equipment, the heat collector is now widely used in the daily life and the production areas. As one of the important heat collectors,the solar air collector has been used to transform the solar energy into the air heat,which has been widely utilized in food drying, building heating and other fields.Therefore, the research is of important practical significance for the solar air collector.Firstly, the rational mathematical and physical models of the air collector were established in the paper, and then the ANSYS 14.0 FLUENT software was applied into the numerical simulation. Secondly, based on those, the different inlet velocity and the air collector inclination were selected to simulate and explore the characteristics of the air heat transfer in the three-plate absorber plate structure of the solar air collector. Then, the optimal structure was obtained via making a comprehensive comparative analysis for numerical results in each absorber plate structure. Finally, on this basis, those factors of the air collector heat transfer characteristics were further studied.The results showed that air collector heat transfer performance of the parabolic corrugated absorber plate was the best in three plate board type in the same flow rate and inclination. As the placement angle of the air collector, its instantaneous efficiency of three-plate air collector increases and then decreases, and its highest efficiency occur in 30° angle. The instantaneous efficiency of three-plate air collector increases with inlet velocity increasing, but the added value decreases. As the temperature of the inlet air increases, the air collector instantaneous efficiency is reduced, but the average temperature of three kinds of the absorber plate increases.Contrasting in the non-selective absorbing coating, the air collector of the selective absorbing coating can improve the heat performance of the collector in a greater degree. As time passes, the instantaneous efficiency of the air collector increases first and then decreases. The instantaneous efficiency of the transverse parabolic corrugated absorber plate collector is higher than the longitudinal parabolic corrugated absorber plate collector. The heat transfer characteristic of the solar air collector in air forward flow is superior to the reverse flow. With the increase of the corrugated board amplitude, the instantaneous efficiency of the solar air collector increases, but the added value is gradually reduced, and the average temperature ofthe absorber plate decrease.
