There are two meanings of the word responsibility in the modern Chinese dictionary. One of the meanings is to fulfill the obligation, and the other is to bear the blame. With the constant development of economic society, more and more experts and scholars gradually pay close attention to the power quality responsibility allocation problem of multi harmonic sources. The division of responsibility of power system multi harmonic source users has important research significance. It’s good to harmonic management, power quality improvement, and implementation of the incentive measures.Firstly, the algorithm of harmonic pollution liability is summarized. Through in-depth research and put forward quantifying harmonic responsibilities of multiple harmonic sources based on Norton equivalent model. The paper first uses the fluctuation method to transfer single phase uncontrolled rectifier circuit to Norton equivalent model. Demonstrate the validity of the Norton equivalent model by comparing the value of harmonic current source and single-phase controlled rectifier circuit. Values of them are approximately equal. Then it sets up a circuit contains three harmonic sources and draw the Norton equivalent model of it. The paper calculates values of each harmonic voltage of every nonlinear load by using the equivalent impedance and uses voltage harmonic responsibility index factor dividing the responsibility of multi harmonic sources.Secondly, this paper presents a comprehensive evaluation way based on combination weighting method in order to distinguish the harmonic responsibility of multi harmonic sources load for the common point. In this paper, the harmonic ratio of the harmonic voltage is used as the evaluation index. We use the comprehensive evaluation of the results of the combined weight method to evaluate the harmonic voltage level. According to the weight coefficient of the combinedweight method, the weighted harmonic voltage value of the harmonic is calculated.We compared the harmonic voltage duty of each load with the two aspects of qualitative and quantitative analysis.Finally, based on the Lab VIEW environment, we develop the multi harmonic responsibility allocation software. It can be easily and intuitively to distinguish the load harmonic responsibility of power system. We analyze and verify several branches of the power distribution network in the actual transformer substation. The feasibility of the proposed method is demonstrated by combining the engineering practice.
