With the development of human society, the rapid increase of energy demand, increasing production of nuclear power unit, it is important to plant safety. The steam generator tube is an important part of the primary pressure boundary in the nuclear power plant, it is the second barrier, plays an important role in nuclear power plant, also the steam generator tube rupture(SGTR) accident is the higher probability of occurrence accident. Therefore, research SGTR accident and coping strategies, it has important meaning in theory and practice.This article is based on the AP1000 steam generator design characteristics, analyzing the cause and the damage of SGTR accident, Using REALP5 / MOD3 modeling analysis of AP1000 different number of the tube rupture occurred, selecting 1,10,100,1000,5000 and 10025 the steam generator tube that occur double side shear fracture, calculating leakage rate of the primary to secondary. Researching AP1000 SGTR accident sequences, operator coping strategy, put forward the prevention measures of SGTR to reduce the probability of SGTR accident. Reduce SGTR accident consequences, reduce the economic loss,protect the public and protect the environment.
