As a new type of clean energy, the utilization of solar energy in many countries, And distributed solar power for the development of China's energy is equally far-reaching. Solar energy can reduce environmental pollution, is an important part of the development of diversified power generation.Along with people's increasing emphasis on environmental protection and new energy development and utilization. Power electronic technology, computer control technology, solar cell materials technology and so on in the rapid development.Solar photovoltaic power generation technology and application of rapid progress.China now has a number of large-scale photovoltaic power plants have been put into operation. Therefore, the research on the electromagnetic transient characteristics of photovoltaic power generation system and the analysis of the influence of the photovoltaic power supply and distribution network to relay protection and automatic device have a very practical significance. The physical and mathematical model of the photovoltaic cell module is studied in this paper. the electromagnetic transient simulation model of Inner Mongolia 5MW Shenzhou photovoltaic power station is built on the RTDS by using the maximum power tracking control and grid connected inverter control theory. Theoretical analysis of the steady-state and electromagnetic transient characteristics of photovoltaic power station has been carried out. Then the power of reactive power and harmonic compensation function is analyzed theoretically, and a simple distribution network model with photovoltaic power supply is built on PSCAD. At the end of the model, the power distribution network model is built, and the influence of the photovoltaic power supply to the distribution network protection system is studied qualitatively. Then, a typical model of the distribution network is constructed, which is set up in a variety of different fault locations. Analysis of the impact of photovoltaic power on the protection of the traditional power distribution network, and simulation verification.
