In recent years, there have number of highway widening projects in china, and there have differences in the prevalence of new and old roadbed settlement problem, resulting in more disease and a serious impact on the structural and functional requirements of the road.After the renovation and expansion of the highway, the differential settlement is inevitable,but we can reduce the settlement of subgrade using certain methods. Because that the new road foundation settlement is too large. So it is necessary for researching for the road’s differential settlement and control technology. In this paper, cement mixing pile, CFG pile composite foundation in highway expansion project of Zhuxin application as an opportunity,we have researched composite foundation application and application results in renovation and expansion project, and large-scale monitored the sections of high fill soft ground, bridge roadbed which is prone to large differential settlement to control the settlement and analyze new subgrade settlement regular pattern. In curve fitting method, settlement for the new roadbed is predicted for more accurate. The main contents are as follows:1.A brief introduction of cement mixing pile, CFG pile in engineering applications, and describing its construction in the highway expansion project in Zhuxin in technology are in the article. After a lot of work to analyze test data of Cement mixing pile and CFG pile, the control factors have been obtained to ensure construction quality.2.Arranged in a highway expansion project in Zhuxin in a large settlement panels,cross-sectional pipes and inclinometer tubes deformation observation equipments, the observed data were analyzed in detail. As a result, the new roadbed settlement affected by various factors that led to the difference between new embankment settlement and previous theoretical results. In actual complexity construction process, we can not determine the improve effectiveness of composite foundation with respect to the processing section processing section which has not done a good foundation based on the size of the settlement.3.Analysis of the the cumulative settlement-time curve of composite foundation and no treatment processing section, we conclude that processing section of composite foundationmade faster and stable subgrade settlement. According to the old paved shoulder cumulative settlement-time curve, we found that when new subgrade filling, the settlement of old paved shoulder was significant increase. After completion of the filling, the settlement begins to stabilize slowly. I have analysed this phenomenon in the article and final settlement is less than the new roadbed settlement.4.Settlement observation is in order to control the quality of construction of roadbed which based on certain mathematical method to predict settlement after construction. After analysing a number of data of finite element method, dynamic forecasting method and curve fitting in this paper, I discovered that curve fitting application in this article is more appropriate and simple which can predict better.
