In recent decades,with the increasingly well-developed transportation infrastructure, the highway was a great development, and bridges on the highway began gradually toward big span form of development.Curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge because of its unique advantages, got a lot of promotion and application,especially in urban interchange and complex mountains terrain.With the more frequent occurrence of earthquakes,more and more people become more aware of the importance of anti-seismic bridge structure. For the new type of the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge, we have relatively less experience of earthquake damage, and just simply provide a anti-seismic design principle of the span of more than150 m of long-span girder bridge.In addition, types of pier and the radius of curvature have an great influence on the dynamic characteristics of the structure, so it is very necessary for us to do the dynamic characteristics research on the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge.Moreover,with the development of science and technology, all kinds of high-strength materials have been widely used,and various types of structures are also moving in the direction of light. Therefore,in order to make a reliable guarantee for the structure, we have to pay more attention to the stability of long span structure. Doing the stability analysis on the structure of the pier,and the maximum cantilever, as well as bridge stage can ensure the stability of bridge during the construction stage,and the construction personnel's security,and the safe operation of bridge during the bridge stage.To bring a little help of the construction design optimization of such a bridge,we do the compared analysis on the dynamic characteristics and stability of the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge when pier forms and the radius of curvature are different.This paper relies on the actual project- Guangxi West Cattle bridge,combining the research status of the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge at the present stage, and it carries out the following tasks:(1)This paper introduces the theory of calculation of the dynamic characteristics,and creates the model on the basis of the theory,as well as changes in the pier forms and the radius of curvature of the West Cattle bridge, doing the dynamic characteristics analysis of the curved long span continuous rigidframe bridge.(2)This paper introduces the earthquake-response theory, and has a detailed description of the time history analysis calculation method. Then the author has a time history analysis under the construction of earthquake on the West Cattle bridge, to establish the appropriate model through changing its pier forms and the radius of curvature. In order to provide some support for the anti-seismic design engineering, this paper do the research on such a bridge type of the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge,(3)This paper introduces the Stability theory,and analyzes the stability of high pier autologous when different pier forms under the weight and the wind load; and do the compared analysis on the stability of the West Cattle bridge's maximum cantilever stage and bridge stage under the different pier forms.(4)This author summarizes and looks forward to the analysis research of the dynamic characteristics and stability of the curved long span continuous rigid frame bridge.
