Automotive function injection has been applied to the car at the site of multiple parts,the functional parts of automotive injection requires high quality of the mechanical properties, but has no requirements for the appearance of it.There are lots of defective productions in the actual production process, many of defective productions are fracture.Therefore, this article is mainly research the mechanism and analysis of fracture defects of automotive functions injection, and propose corresponding optimization methods, finally applied those optimization methods to actual production process,in order to increase the qualified rate in actual injection molding process.In this paper,we choose the front of a company car bumper bracket as an example, it obtained the root cause after theoretical fracture analysis is the presence of weld lines. Using ANASYS static analysis to simulate the actual assembly process, setting up the constraints to obtain statics simulation results, the most serious deformation position of the front car bumper bracket was the second and third mounting holes which was the most prone to fracture.According the analysis results of ANASYS,Using MOLDFLOW software to optimize the position of the fracture. The purpose of optimization is to reduce the weld lines or the residual stress of the deformation. Three kinds of optimization method is proposed: first of all,optimizing the gating system,secondly, optimizing mold design, thirdly, optimizing the process parameters. There are four kinds of gate location optimization program,it presented the number of gate 4 gate is the optimal solution after simulate all four optimization program. There are three kinds of mold design optimization program, it presented that open a small groove 3mm nearly the weld lines mainly was the most optimal solution.Using orthogonal experiment to optimizae of process parameters to get the optimal combination.Finally,throgh tensile test to get the maximum tensile stress test data of automotive bumper bracket. The reasults was to test whether those optimization pargram we propuse in front were fit actual situation.
