With the development of integrated circuits, intelligent information processing and other technologies, and their application in the field of fuse system, resulting in rapid development of fuse system. In recent years, the research about fuse has focused on the fuse system which has the ability of self-perception, judgment and decision-making. Due to the outstanding performance of the US military helicopters in the Gulf War, countries all over the world realized the importance of the research about anti-helicopter weapon. This paper is trying to design and implement an intelligent fuse system in this background.Intelligent fuse system described in this paper uses both acoustic sensors and millimeter-wave radar sensor to detect target. Firstly roughly position the target using acoustic sensor array positioning system, then accurately measuring the range and the velocity of the target by millimeter-wave radar sensor, at last complete signal processing and target information extraction by FPGA. The acoustic sensor array positioning system utilizes four acoustic sensors to acquire target's sound signal, then the sound signal is processed by analog signal processing circuit, after that the analog signal is converted into digital signal by the AD conversion circuit, finalize the acoustic sensors array location algorithm based on time difference of arrival in FPGA. The radar sensor measuring system uses a millimeter-wave radar named IVQ-905 which has one transmitter and two receivers to acquire radar signal, after signal preprocessing and analogue-to-digital conversion, the radar system precisely measuring the range and the speed of the target using FPGA based on the principle of symmetrical triangular frequency modulation continuous wave(STMFCW).The paper firstly analyzes the background and significance of intelligent fuse system. And secondly talks about the intelligent fuse system from the aspect of theoretical basis, including a brief introduction of fuse and intelligent fuse, and the working principle of the intelligent fuse system described in this paper, especially discusses the working principle of two important parts of the intelligent fuse system named acoustic sensor array positioning system and STMFCW radar system. Thirdly the paper puts forward a design method of the intelligent fuse from the aspect of circuit design and digital module design in FPGA. Then the paper discusses the realization of the intelligent according to the design aforementioned, which includes the hardware implementation and main digital modules implementation, meanwhile, the paper shows the simulation of the system and some functional test results. At last, the paper summarizes the entire system and proposes some problems remain to be done, and gives some suggestions about the improvements of the intelligent fuse system.
