Fault location of distribution network is an important part of intelligent distribution network. Its main work is to determine the fault location through the relevant information, when phase to phase fault or phase to ground fault occurs. The accuracy of fault location method has a direct impact on the power supply user fault outage time, and exerts a great influence on the social, economic, and other aspects of life, which is the basis and premise of fault isolation, maintenance and restoration of power supply in distribution network. This paper focuses on the impact of the size of distribution network increases, the loss of information and the access of distributed power supply to the fault location, Its main research contents are as follows:Considering the nature of fault location in distribution network is a high dimensional binary optimization problem, this paper proposes an improved membrane system algorithm which is applied to the fault location. This algorithm adopts reverse learning to generate the initial solution, and improve the probability of initial uniform distribution; fuses the Moore model and the fishing model as a local search operator, to improve the accuracy of the solution; introduces chaos mapping, to maintain the diversity of population. According to the model of multi power supply in distribution network, the idea of module partition is used to decompose the topology of multi power supply into a single power distribution network. Simulation results show that the improved algorithm has strong optimization ability, which is suitable for the problem of peak multidimensional function, and have a certain fault tolerance. Compared with the existing algorithms, the accuracy is higher and the convergence rate is faster.Aiming at the problem of the information distortion phenomenon and the difficulty of large scale distribution network algorithm, this paper proposes a method of fault location for distribution network, which is based on the information reduction technique and the nested membrane structure. The method is based on the intrinsic link between the information to restore the true fault current information; the large scale complex distribution network is nested to generate the membrane structure, and the fault diagnosis is realized by the optimization of all the films from the inside to the outside. The simulation results show that the information reduction technology can solve the problem of information distortion effectively, and the nested membrane computing improves the speed and accuracy of fault location.For distributed power access distribution network, the change of tidal current makes the positioning scheme difficult to adapt to the problem, this paper proposes a fault location scheme which is suitable for the distribution network with distributed generation. The scheme is based on the discussion of the influence of different position on fault current in DG access, we define the main and secondary branch; we construct the switching function and evaluation function of distribution network accessed distributed powers, and we use them to fault location based on membrane computing at last. The simulation results show that the new definition function is suitable for fault location in distribution network with distributed power, the use of membrane system algorithm to solve the problem of distribution network with distributed power distribution network fault location has a high accuracy, and is suitable for multiple fault problems.
