| Driving Axle is an important part of automobile transmission system,which has to bear complex force and impact load from the body and the road.Thus,it plays a crucial role in the overall performance of the car.With the diversity of development of modern automobile,the need for a better and better design of drive axle transmission system is urgent nowadays.Due to the lack of design methods,the reverse development of some new products in China are achieved just by adapting analogical design method to modify some main dimensions,in other words,they are all developed merely on the basis of foreign similar products.And there are no convenient calculation tools,so some complicate procedures must be completed by hand and are extremely time-consuming,such as looking up chart and rechecking the calculation.In this paper,according to the structure characteristics of the drive axle,the design method of drive axle transmission system is summed up as well as the design process of every single component created.And the method of component parameters design and verification is given,from which a computer program is developed.This program provides a convenient tool for the design of drive axle transmission systems,shortening the development cycle of new products.The main research works completed in this paper are as follows:1.The right design procedure of driving axle transmission system components is concluded,besides the application scope of different structure types of the transmission parts is described as well as the detailed design flow chart drawn.All this provides designers with systematic guidance to design drive axle transmission system.2.The choosing method of the original basic parameters of every component is described,and the calculation method of the detailed geometrical parameters of the drive gear is given.In accordance with the order of the flow of forces,the sharing method of automobile power is studied under the conditions of straight driving and steering,accordingly,the method to calculate load of component is obtained.Based on the unified standard,the force calculation and evaluation method of various transmission bevel gear and spur gear are described,realizing the accurate rechecking under two different working conditions.3.With the use of Plot Digitizer and MATLAB software,the curve function relevant to component geometric parameters is created from graphics curve which must be captured by hand.A accordingly computer program is established by using C++ to combine the curve function and the calculation&rechecking formulation.The geometric parameter design and calculation&rechecking process of transmission is achieved this way,at the same time,the convenient access to discrete data and design description can also be realized.4.Based on the known basic parameters of gear,a detailed design procedure program of driving Axle parameters is completed,in the mean time,the gear stress under two conditions is calculated too.Moreover,the load analysis of design model in straightdriving and steering is also finished with the application of Romax Designer.The tolerance between the analysis results and calculation results is acceptable.This final result shows a time-saving detailed design of driving axle components is realized by using the method described in this paper,and furthermore,the rechecking result is reliable. |
