Study On The Application Of Air-cooled Condenser For Small-scale Refrigeration System

Air-cooled condenser is widely used in small-scale refrigeration system with cooling capacity of 10 k W.This paper mainly includes the following contents.Part1,Study on the energy saving of refrigerator condenser.The heat transfer and pressure drop models of hot-wall condenser of refrigerator and forced convective finned condenser of refrigerator were built.By using the mathematical model calculation,the heat transfer effect of hot-wall condenser was compared with air-cooled condenser.The influence of the refrigeration system COP and the condenser consumptions were analyzed by switching condensing unit.Calculations and analysis show that the refrigeration system COP of the forced convective fined condenser was increased by 10% than the hot-wall condenser.The material consumptions of air-cooled condenser also dropped sharply.The finned tube condenser and parallel flow condenser were respectively linked in parallel with hot-wall condensers in two sample refrigerators for compare experiment.There was a good coincidence between the experimental results and theoretical calculations.Part2,Simulation of the parallel flow condenser used in bus air conditioning system.We know that the parallel flow condenser has been used in some bus air conditioning system.As the expanding job of part one,the heat transfer and pressure drop models of parallel condenser used in bus air conditioning system were built by using the formula of heat transfer factor J and pressure drop factor f which were summarized by Chung?Davenport and Wang.The simulation program of parallel flow condenser was compiled on the Basic Visual 6 software platform.The simulation program can be used to calculate the condensation area and the length of the flat tube which could be match with cooling load of a system.The simulation program was verified by test data of two parallel flow condensers which were supplied by a bus air-conditioner manufactuer.
