In modern shipbuilding mode, the construction process of ship block is the bottleneck of the entire shipbuilding. Its production cycle is longer, and there are relatively more resource constraints during the production process. With the increasing popularity and development of blocked shipbuilding mode, demand for transport of hull blocks in the site has become increasingly prominent. Planning and controlling the transportation of blocks reasonably and safely is one of the key factors to short ship construction cycle and to improve the competitiveness of China's shipbuilding industry.The contents of this paper are dynamics simulation calculations of large block of LPG ship in transport with braking excitation at different speeds and different uneven pavement excitation. The main task is to use dynamics simulation software ANSYS/LS-DYNA to analysis the dynamic characteristics of block of LPG ship according to the theory of dynamics transport guide.First, this paper introduces the background and significance of transport dynamics in of large block of LPG ship. Through the study of existing research results, this paper summarizes the research status of domestic and international transport dynamics, transport safety status of large cargo and research status of transport dynamics in the field of LPG ship. This paper also analyzes the current problems of transport dynamics of block of LPG ship and determines its contents and framework.Secondly, we study the basic theory of transport dynamics, as well as the basic principles of and nonlinear finite element method and solving process. It describes the nonlinear dynamics simulation software ANSYS/LS-DYNA and post-processing software LS-PREPOST. By case, the paper links the basic theory and numerical simulation software together to verify the reliability of solving nonlinear dynamic problem.Finally, taking the block of 83000 m3 LPG ship as the research target, this paper establishes the model based on the data of actual model drawings, including a block structure, wooden pier structure and simplify flatbed truck structure. This paper mainly analyzes the dynamic characteristics of block in different conditions of transport. When setting up transportation environment, it takes into account the uneven pavement excitation and the emergency braking. In both environments it is also set different conditions to analysis the factors of affecting the reliability of block in transport. By comparing the results of a variety of conditions, it draws out the effect curve affecting the reliability of block in transport, and provides guidance for the shipyard about large block transport security.
