| With the rapid development of economy, we build much more bridges in the field of water conservancy and transportation. Our country sits between Circum-pacific seismic belt and Eurasian Continental earthquake zone. Our country is one of the world’s most seismically active areas. Improving seismic performance of bridge is one of the most important research topic to protect the security of people’s lives and properties. Reinforcing Bridge’s strength and stiffness is limited to improve the seismic performance of Bridges, and that will cost much more. Earthquake-reduction and seismic-isolation can improve the seismic performance of bridges effectively. The lead rubber bearing is widely used for bridge seismic design. It is necessary to study the relationship between the composition of the lead rubber bearing and the seismic performance of bridges. Beam falling is common in bridge failure in earthquake. Collapse-proof systems is a major measure to prevent the beams falling off their supports. The main research content of this paper:(1)According to the composition of the LRB builds finite element model to study the seismic performance of LRB. Getting the stress state and drawing the hysteresis curve of LRB with different diameter of lead, different thickness of the rubber, different layer number of the rubber.(2)Choosing an isolated simply supported bridge and studying its seismic performance. Researching the seismic performance of bridges with different parameter of LRB in selected seismic waves. And then studying the seismic performance of bridges with different distribution.(3)In the earthquake, the displacement of the beam may cause fall-beam destruction. Researching the relationship between the distribution of pull rod and the seismic performance of bridges.Through calculation and analysis, the composition of the LRB is closely related to the seismic performance of bridges. Reasonable composition of the LRB can effectively improve seismic performance of bridge. The pull rod can reduce the displacement between pier and beam, it is helpful to prevent fall-beam destruction. |
