Study On Route Selection System Of Oversize Highway Transportation Based On ArcGIS Engine

With the needs of economic construction and the continuous improvement of modern industrial manufacturing technology,the construction scale of national engineering project is more and more massive,and the industrial equipment is becoming more and more tremendous and complicated.Due to the complex dimension of the oversize and heavyweight equipment,the higher requirements are put forward for road conditions,traffic conditions and transportation technology.Therefore,how to transport these oversize equipment to the project sites safely and economically in a limited time will directly affect the schedules,costs and the economy development of the whole project.This paper take oversize highway transportation as the research object,the problem of transport route choice is studied,and the route selection system is designed and developed,which have importantly meaning for the oversize highway transportation.Based on the analysis of the domestic and foreign oversize transportation research,the study of oversize transportation route selection system as follow: firstly,the selection steps and factors of affecting route selection of oversize highway transportation are described.Secondly,analysis the influence factors in quantitative and establish the model for route selection based on time and cost.Then,the need function and database of the system have carried on the detailed design,on the basis of system requirements analysis and system structure.Finally,the route selection system of oversize highway transportation is developed and achieved based on ArcGIS Engine 10.2 components,using the Visual Studio 2010 integrated development environment and adopting C# as development language.In this paper,the research will provide the effective decision support for setting the plan of oversize highway transportation and greatly reduce the transportation cost,improve the efficiency of transportation,has important practical significance.At the same time,the research will provide new train of thought and theory supporting for the problem of large transport route choice.
