The phenomenon of liquid film is common in the daily life and engineering industry. At the beginning of the research on liquid film flow, most of them focused on the flat wall. However, due to the disturbance affects, film flow on the uneven surface will present a more complex dynamic phenomena, such as vortex formation, the appearance of the surface wave, resonance phenomenon, etc. In addition, the liquid film of high efficient heat and mass transfer technology also have important role in the field of engineering.In this paper, the software Gambit is used to model and mesh the inclined corrugated wall. The simulation software Fluent is adopted to establish the simulation model of two-dimensional gas-liquid two-phase flow. The evolution of vortex in wall structure changing with time was studied. The reason of vortex emergence among the flow process was explored. In addition, the vortex characteristics under the conditions of changing inlet Reynolds number, changing the corrugated structure of the wave wall, changing the corrugated wall angle, changing the fluid temperature, and consider the affection of surface tension or not, was researched. The influence of vortex characteristics to the surface fluctuation and the liquid phase was also studied. The results indicate that vortex in corrugated structure is not easy to form under the condition of low Reynolds number. With the increasing of Reynolds number, the vortex generates, which showing a trend of increasing on the size and shape; Corrugated structure of vortex in both with the amplitude increases, and the larger the amplitude of vortex the irregular; The vortex characteristics in corrugated structure changes with the wall angle changes, but the shifting of liquid phase is not obvious and film thickness increased slightly; The surface tension has influence on the whole flow field structure, which is very important to liquid film flow.What's more, the heat transfer characteristics liquid film flow on different corrugated structure surface were studied. Through changing the wall structure and flow rate, the size and shape of vortex in the corrugated structure has influence on wall heat transfer coefficient and the of the temperature distribution.
