Currently there are 110 KV AC overhead transmission lines 130000 KM, 220 kV AC overhead transmission line one hundred and twenty thousand kilometers, 330 kV line and 500 kV line more than thirty thousand kilometers, 1000 kV UHV transmission line is under construction. High voltage transmission line, which is in the complex atmospheric environment, has been exposed to the complex atmospheric environment for a long time. Lightning, on the one hand may cause the system to single or multi-phase grounding short circuit, the relay protection tripping device; on the other hand along the transmission line lightning incoming substation, substation electrical equipment insulation direct threat, causing major accidents. Ultra-high voltage line voltage level is high, the transmission capacity is large, and the weak ability to resist lightning from the high voltage power grid has a great threat to the safety operation of power network.At present, the ultra-high voltage transmission line of different voltage levels has taken a lot of lightning protection measures, but the effect is not entirely satisfactory.Lightning protection design and analysis in lightning occur frequentiy not targeted protectioan.therefore, put forward the lightning protection design scheme. It is an urgent problem to be solved in the design of transmission line engineering to improve the lightning protection performance of transmission line.Lightning protection technology is the key to the transmission line lightning protection measures, combined with the characteristics of Huizhou Dayawan transmission line lightning protection technology, analyzes the grounding resistance of transmission line lightning protection, and puts forward the specific measures to improve the lightning protection grounding technology level and reduce grounding resistance.
