Design And Research On Aided Analysis Of Setting Calculation Software For Relay Protection

With development of power system, grid-structure and grid-scale become more complex. The difficulty of setting calculation is greatly increased, and the corresponding request becomes more and more complex. Increasing the power system brings the complex calculation, low efficiency, low accuracy and so on. To solve these problems,this paper has a detailed analysis. Aided analysis module of setting calculation software has helped to solve the above problems. Research work as follow:This paper provides a verification model of reasonable operating mode, and the program achieves its algorithm. Elaborating the importance of selecting reasonable operating mode, this paper introduces static security constraints to the algorithm of reasonable operating mode. If the result is convergent, then it means the conditions constraint the node voltage and the generator output of current operation mode. If the result is divergent, then the current operation mode is unreasonable. Examples show that the proposed algorithm is available and practical.This paper proposes an efficient equivalent algorithm is applied to the setting calculation. For large-scale network, For large- scale network, the algorithm overcomes the disadvantage of low efficiency of the traditional method. We use the graphics module in the software to select equivalence region, then we determine the boundary nodes. At the same time, considering little change in operating mode, while only a small part of the network changes, it introduces the node impedance correction algorithm to the network,rather than recalculation. Comparing with the traditional method, it can reduce the number of correction of matrix element in the process. It can reduce the amount of calculation, and make the solving process more clear and efficient. Examples show that the proposed algorithm is correct.Based on the overall planning, this paper has a detailed analysis of existing modules in the software and programs to achieve the aided analysis module. Aided analysis module can achieve the corresponding capabilities, including power equivalent, verifying the reasonableness of operating mode and other functions. The interface of module and key technology are discussed.The realization of aided analysis module can achieve power equivalent and verifying the reasonableness of operating mode. This module can reduce artificial computational effort and human error, and can improve efficiency. It can improve the performance and functions of setting calculation software.
