Oxy-coal combustion technology is considered to be one of the best way to reduce the emission of CO2 from power plants. The oxy-coal gas is make up of pure oxygen obtained from air separation and a part of the recycle flue gas instead of air as oxidant of oxy-coal combustion. Thus, the flue gas can be zero CO2 emissions after purification treatment of flue gas compression by the improvement of the mole fraction of CO2.700?660MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit has advantages of low carbon emissions and higher efficiency of unit. The research on design and operation characteristics of 700 ? 660 MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit has reference significance for future practice and promotion of this type unit.A 700?660MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit is conceptual designed starting with the selection of the coal, the furnace selection, the layout of radiation heating surface and convection heating surface in furnace and flue. Meanwhlie, it is based on the law of the mass conservation and the energy conservation, as well as its operation principal and process. Boiler design calculations have the aid of iterative computation of algorithms and the design calculation model. This method not only improves the efficiency of boiler design calculation, also provides simulation software support for the study of its operating characteristics.The dynamic mathematical model and simulation algorithms of the equipments and process is established after the 660 MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit is divided into various systems, equipments and processes, such as combustion and flue gas system, superheated steam and reheat steam systems, gas compression system and so on.Then simulation model of various equipments and process in subsystems were built with the aid of Gensystem integration simulation support system software platform. The design calculation model of 660 MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit was integrated and the main design parameters of the unit were drawn by the calculation of this model.Through the simulation experimental research of combustion and flue gas system,superheated steam and reheat steam systems and gas compression system,the operating characteristics of the main system, equipments and process were drawn and analyzed,which can provide somevaluable reference information for the design and the safe economic operation of 700?660MW ultra-supercritical oxy-coal fired boiler unit.
