Based on the waterfront theoretical review, this paper has do a comprehensive understanding and analysis of main city of Nanjing Riverside Landscape System, and select the riverside landscape of the Jiajiang section in the International Youth Cultural Park and Youth Olympic Games Forest Park as a contrast. This paper focuses on two riverside landscape which has the same geographical and climatic conditions,do a comparative analysis from the different ideas, different forms, different techniques and different technical, think how to handled more optimally to the riverside landscape and think out the solutions of the shortcomings and make some new suggestions to the city’s riverside landscape.This article focuses on the:(1) the coordination of waterfront ecosystem and waterfront public space; (2) the contradictory between the concept of human and the ecology of natural; (3) the problem of the user’s demand and the attractiveness of the landscape. By discussing these questions, I have raised specific suggestions and strategies combined with the two Riverside Park Waterfront Landscape Construction: (1) strengthen its eco-system construction, replace part of the public space function; (2) recover and balance the city’s waterfront ecosystem, it’s important to enhance the diversity of the species; (3) the construction of a waterfront public space has to focuses on the users’ needs and increases its attractiveness.
