The clay-cement material is a fine grouting material, which has been widely used in areas of hydraulic, mining, landfill and other engineering for seepage preventing and foundation reinforcement. Recent years, more and more researches on the properties of clay-cement grouting material have been studied, but less on the rheological properties and its influence on grouting. In this paper, the rheological properties of clay slurry material more detailed studies, there are mainly the results of the study are:(1) In this paper, study the rheological parameters of clay-cement grouting material about laminar flow condition with the Brookfield R/S rheometer. Such as the water solid ratio,clay addition amount, temperature and other factors and filter press function influence of rheological parameters. Water-solid ratio is not bigger than 1:1,the clay-cement grouting material is bingham fluid, when water-solid ratio is greater than 1:1 for Newtonian fluid. The influence of Clay added amount for rheological parameter is closely related to water-solid ratio. The rheological parameters of grouting material will be changed with temperature changed.(2) Use our own team of filter press device test rig and the rheometer slurry in rock mass under the action of absorption of the rheological properties of the pulp material cycle test, and the rheological properties of the pulp material in front of the filter effect later changes. The viscosity and yield stress increased gradually under the action of Adsorption of rock and soil mass; Clay-cement material is easily happen filter effect, and the influence of filter effect of clay-cement grouting material is weaker than the pure water slurry.Considering the adsorption effect of grouting process of slurry in geotechnical engineering, the flow model of the clay-cement material is likely to change.(3) Analysis the particle size of clay material particles, Clay particle size is smaller than the ordinary cement particles. And introduce related formula, calculated using the measured rheological parameters, Under the precondition of the pulp material particle size can enter thecrack, the groutability of clay-cement slurry material is superior to the pure water slurry material.(4) Experiment on grouting, discussed the influence of the factors that affect the rheological properties of the clay-cement slurry material. Demonstrates the influence of the water-solid ratio, clay added amount and grouting pressure on groutability. Based on the contrastive analysis of existing diffusion model. Study the relationship of diffusion distance and rheological properties. For Newtonian fluid body, the smaller viscosity the farther diffusion distance. For Bingham fluid, the yield stress has more influence on the diffusion distance than the viscosity, the greater yield stress the smaller diffusion distance.The study about properties of the grouting material is very maturity, but the influence of rheological properties for engineering is unclear.The connections of rheological properties and engineering should be studied distinctly, developed more suitable grouting material.
