3D shooting is an important means of obtaining 3D images and video,this paper focuses on hardware and software of high-definition 3D image capture system and designs the logic circuit of 3D shooting hardware with hardware description language.The main work done are:(1) Designing 3D video capture system's hardware circuit according to the requirements of high-definition.Using FPGA, CMOS image sensor, SDRAM, USB,LCD and SD memory to construct the high-definition 3D video capture circuitry,using two CMOS image sensors which replace human eyes to get the left and right eye images,so that the system can achieve the image shooting, storage and transmission.(2) Using FPGA to set synchronously dual CMOS image sensor registers according to the timing of the image sensor and studying various image configuration mode;capturing accurately the image data at the rising edge of the high frequency pulse and then storing in the buffer memory. Data is processed by means of alternate sequence and cross clock domain operation;Finally the stereoscopic parallax image is showed in the 3D LCD in real time.(3) In order to solve the storage problem of high-definition 3D image capture system, selecting the BMP and FAT file system as a program to study the FPGA external storage control method. Use the SD hardware logic designed control algorithms, thus completing the initialization of SD card, the data read/write functions.Finally the image data can be stored in the SD card in the form of BMP.(4) Studying 3D image sensor with USB interface. FPGA design hardware logic algorithms to communicate with USB chip, and designing software to communicate with the computer, so data can be collected and transmission. In this paper, using a single image sensor as example to study data USB transmission method.Through research and development of 3D imaging system, the system can complete acquisition and display of high-definition 3D image.At the same time designing the hardware logic algorithms of image storage and USB transmission. The results would provide support for 3D imaging technology and its products.
