Metakaolin-based geopolymer as an inorganic material, bearing both excellent properties of organic materials, ceramics, cement and other materials, and advantages of abundant raw materials, the simple process inexpensive and energy conservation etc..Compared with the traditional cement,it doesn’t need calcinations. Features of energy-saving,environmentally friendly makes a potential green building material. Through a combination of theoretical and experimental study of its physical and chemical properties, and this paper thus try to apply metakaolin base polymer instead of being reinforced epoxy resin to engineering structures. The main contents of this study are as follows:(1) The metakaolin after calcination activation of Shanxi kaolin mixing with an alkaline activator gets metakaolin-base geopolymer gelling material.By orthogonal experiment, the researchers modified silicate modulus, activator content, curing temperature and curing time on the strength of metakaolin-base geopolymer at 7d and 28 d gelling material impact on the law,and ultimately optimize the best mix; then using range analysis, the four factors of this metakaolin-base polymer gelling material 7d and 28 d compressive strength of the relationship between the size of the impact of the effect.(2) Through the concrete single shear test of near-surface Mounted FRP,studying on geology organic polymer inorganic adhesive and epoxy adhesive after high temperature treatment of its FRP- interfacial adhesion between the performances of concrete. The results showed that: The ring sensitivity of epoxy binder on high temperature organic is higher than inorganic geopolymer binder, that is,as the processing temperature, the epoxy binder single shear specimen showed a weakening trend in the ultimate tensile strength, and the geopolymer ultimate tensile strength of the adhesive specimen has no significant change. In this trial,in addition to the specimen SK-120 due to improper handling slotted debonding occurs between the outer layer and the concrete, failure modes remaining specimens all debond between FRP and binder.
