With the development of construction industry changing rapidly, people have payed more and more attention to the method of Structural Damage Detection.It has become a hot issue: detecting structural performance, predicting possible hazards, assessing the structural safety.Wavelet analysis is known as "mathematical microscope" and it can analyze the information of a local space by extracting and analyzing the internal modal parameters and other information of the structure. So the wavelet singularity means the structural damage location. Artificial immune algorithm is combined with the advantages of both the traditional artificial intelligence algorithm and the adaptive ability of the biological immune system. It has the superior ability of information processing and strong robustness, it can be used to identify the damage extent just perfectly.This paper has mainly done the following work:1 By combining the ability of global searching of wavelet analysis system and good strong calculation ability of artificial immune algorithm, a method is proposed to effectively identify the damage location and accurately identify the damage degree which is called wavelet- Artificial Immune Algorithm2 In this paper, using the Euclidean distance and the Baldwin effect to optimize the standard artificial immune algorithm for combining with wavelet analysis better. The function optimization can Improve antibody population diversity and highlight the algorithm and memory function. New operator added to artificial immune algorithm optimized has improved convergence speed and speed up the computing efficiency.3 Through the finite element analysis, this paper uses Matlab to compile the artificial immune algorithm procedures, by combining wavelet analysis and artificial immune algorithm,wavelet coefficient diagrams of modulus maxim for the structural damage location,damage location as the known quantity will program of artificial immune algorithm, then the output parameters of the program is the damage degree of structure.4.This paper studied the simply supported beam respectively containing 2 and 3 crack,damage identification and cracks of different depth. Through calculation and analysis verified the established method. On this basis, further study of the continuous beam are respectively containing 2 and 3 crack, the two layer of a cross frame structure are respectively containing 2 and 4 crack, damage identification and cracks of different depth.Numerical results show that the wavelet- the artificial immune algorithm not only retains the advantages of wavelet analysis can quickly and accurately identify the damage location,also played a precise calculation of the damage degree of superiority of the artificial immune algorithm.
